This is perhaps the most amazing of Disney hotel experiences, everything designed to give you the feeling of being "on safari" in Africa. Building design, cuisine, and, of course, the Animal Kingdom animal park, all contributing to the experience. Choose a "Savannah View" guest room and you'll wake each morning to a view of the 33-acre simulated African Savannah - a working wildlife reserve. The large outdoor swimming pool has views of the savannah, waterslide, and two whirlpool spas. All rooms have private balconies. Complimentary bus transport is provided to all the other theme parks and Downtown Disney.
Dine under thatched-roof at "Boma", designed to look like a traditional African marketplace, serving a variety of foods from throughout Africa. Or choose "Jiko", a more upscale restaurant serving modern variations on traiditional cuisine.
