Disney's Pop Century Resort is near Disney's Animal Kingdom and is one of the slightly less expensive options for staying at a Disney hotel - but you still get the convenience of being within "Greater Disney World" with complimentary bus access to all the Disney theme parks.
The hotel is designed to be a tour of the 20th century with examples of "pop culture" organized by decade. They don't leave too many fads, toys, dance crazes, and catch phrases untouched. Cute, as long as it isn't in large doses.
Buses to the Disney Theme Parks, the water parks, and Downtown Disney depart regularly from bus stops throughout the resort. Two swimming pools (including a kids pool), water fountain, playground, arcade, food court, pool bar and laundry facilities are available on the grounds. The hotel also offers limited room service, babysitting, valet laundry service, and free parking. Five championship Disney golf courses are available (complimentary transportation available for Disney hotel guests through bell services).
