Disneys Port Orleans Resort French Quarter

Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter is located on the east edge of the Downtown Disney area. It's considered one of the "moderate" price resort hotels within Disney World.

The resort's Downtown Disney location has definite advantages in terms of easily accessible places to eat and shop. Plus the Port Orleans Resort itself includes several Louisiana-themed restaurants and a themed water area called "Doubloon Lagoon". Eateries within the resort include the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (a food court), Boatwright's Dining Hall, and Scat Cat's Club. Design elements throughout Port Orleans are reminiscent of New Orleans' French Quarter. The hotel also offers free transportation to all areas of the Walt Disney World Resort, including ferryboat service to the Downtown Disney Marketplace and Pleasure Island.
