Orlando Attractions
Most people planning a trip to Orlando are headed to the area's amusement parks, including Disney World (and the other Disney-owned properties), Universal Studios and Sea World. But the "big three" aren't the only attractions in Orlando and some of the others aren't quite as crowded as the big guys.

The Magic Kingdom is the original Disney theme park in Orlando and, in a way, the hub of the Disney universe. It's a much larger version of the original Disneyland in California, with Cinderella's Castle at the center of everything.

Epcot Center is the second oldest of the Disney World theme parks, just a monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom. It's kind of an extension of the old idea of a World's Fair, with examinations of world culture and visions of the future.

Disney's Animal Kingdom, as you might have guessed, is the wild animal park at Disney World. Of course, it is Disney, so you'll also find shows called "Festival of The Lion King" and "Finding Nemo - The Musical".

Disney-MGM Studios is a rather obvious, but still entertaining, answer to the opening of Universal Studios in Orlando. It's all about the world of the movies, but much more than just Disney flicks.

A visit to Discovery Cove is like a super-charged visit to SeaWorld. It's easily one of the most expensive attractions in Orlando, but how often do you get to spend the day getting up close with dolphins, rays, tropical fish and exotic birds?
