Disney's Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom, as you might have guessed, is the wild animal park at Disney World. Of course, it is Disney, so you'll also find shows called "Festival of The Lion King" and "Finding Nemo - The Musical".

Disney's Animal Kingdom occupies a large patch of land toward the southwest edge of Disney World. Hundreds of acres are devoted to the display of animals from all over the world. Attractions range from the "Affection Section" (cuddly animals for touching) to "Conservation Station" (including demonstrations and information about endangered species) to "Maharajah Jungle Trek" (a voyage through a southeast Asian jungle). Overall, an excellent mix of entertainment and education.
