At Universal Studios
The Portofino Bay Hotel is a rather amazing recreation of the Italian seaside resort of Portofino, Italy. A nice, if slightly obnoxious, benefit: Just show your room key and you can skip the regular lines at the rides and attractions of Universal Studios.
And you can get to the theme park via the complimentary water taxi or shuttle bus. Guests also qualify for priority seating at some of the Universal Orlando restaurants (check with the concierge for details). There are 3 themed swimming pools at the Portofino Bay - one with private cabanas, one that's a beach pool (with a Roman-themed water slide!), as well as kid's play area with pool. Lots of on-site amenities of a "physical" nature, including bocce courts and the Mandara Spa that offers massages, skin care, body treatments, hair and nail care, steam and sauna. Some rooms have views overlooking the "piazza" and the scenic harbor full of "old-world" fishing boats.
